Newcomers' Night - December 2nd, 2009

New area residents were invited to join us for an informal "Meet & Greet" hosted by the Renfrew & Area Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Renfrew. Twenty-seven Information/Display Tables were set up by local businesses, organizations and clubs which is a great way for newcomers to find out what to do and see in Renfrew and the area. 

Thirty-four families registered with every family in attendance receiving a gift bucket courtesy of Renfrew Home Hardware.  Greetings were given by Mayor Sandi Heins and Mr. Kent Tubman on behalf of the Renfrew & Area Chamber of Commerce.  The evening was emceed by Barb Symington.. A Zumba demonstration was provided by the Renfrew Recreation Centre.  Many door Prizes were handed out over the evening with refreshments provided.

A warm and welcome evening for all Newcomers' to Renfrew and Area.

On October 13 Chamber President Kevin Bossy and the Board of Directors welcomed new members and thanked all members for their continued support.
